I have been sharing my embroidery work on Instagram so much over the last few months and I realized that I haven't shared much of it here! Here's another installment of From the Hoop, with selected items I've done since my last embroidery post, in October.
These pretty napkins and the matching table runner were done for a wedding at The Greenbriar that was planned by Shindig Weddings and Events.
The projects around the holidays were mostly tote bags and scarves. I think I would up doing about 30 tote bags and at least that many scarves.
Baby items will probably always be some of my favorite things to monogram. Here are some of the cute blankets, burp cloths, and bloomers I've embroidered lately.
Towels still seem to be one of the most popular things I do. I imagine some of these were hostess gifts over the holidays...
I embroidered fleeces for many of my family members this year and I hear my little niece is now obsessed with her monogram. My plan is working...monogram everything!
A few more random items...
These are boxer shorts...
These were for costumes. They gave me a picture of a patch and asked me to get as close as possible. Can you guess what the costume was?
Instead of making monogrammed Sferra blankets as usual, I tried applique on one. I love how it turned out!
And I got a sweet reminder of someone I did a couple years ago. Ami Smith of Embellish Interiors had me monogram some gorgeous velvet for a pillow she had made for a client. I just stumbled upon this picture the other day.
