Searching for a Tile Supplier in Richmond

When I met a woman who has renovated seven bathrooms in the last few years (between two houses and some restaurants), I had to pick her brain about her favorite sources for tile. Aside from Best Tile, which we have already visited and loved, she mentioned a store called Floor and Decor in Richmond. She said it was huge, but I wasn't quite prepared. It's an old K-Mart store full of flooring. It's incredible.

My expectations were low, but I was impressed almost immediately with the displays. There was a ton of beautiful tile.

The marble section has a lot of standard items: subway, basketweave, hexagon, etc.

The porcelain options went on for aisles and aisles.

There were even some special tiles I've never seen before.

And after walking around for a while, I found yet another section of marble.

With marble switch plates!

There was also a clearance section with some pretty impressive deals.

And a special order section of higher-end stone tiles.

I don't think their marble selection or prices is better than Best Tile's, but their porcelain selection is amazing! Most of the porcelain I saw was less than $4 per square foot. We might use porcelain in our laundry room down the line and I have a feeling I'll be coming to Floor and Decor for it.
