Shop Tour: Williams and Sherrill in Richmond

I'm in my busy season at work and have some shop visits from a few weeks ago to share. I hope you don't mind a bit of a series!

This first visit was to Williams and Sherrill in Richmond (really the Midlothian/Bon Air area). The store is huge! The front half of the space is filled with furniture vignettes and the back half holds rack upon rack of beautiful fabric. They have an incredible trim wall as well!

I am still trying to find the perfect chest or sideboard from our front hall, so that was my main reason for visiting. If I had been looking for upholstery, I would have been in heaven. Case goods, though, aren't as plentiful.

The one quirk is that the weekend hours make it tricky to make several stops in a Saturday afternoon. They close at 4 PM, so if you're making a day of visiting RVA for furniture shopping, make sure you hit them early!

The velvet pillows below have been everywhere for a year or two (in blue, green, turquoise, and coral, I believe). I'm still not tired of them.

There those pillows are again!

There are those pillows again...
