Claire Pettibone's New Flagship Salon

Most of my shop tours are of stores I've visited personally, but when Claire Pettibone's team sent Elizabeth Messina's images of the bridal designer's new flagship salon in Los Angeles, I couldn't help but share them.

Pettibone's new salon is inside a castle-like building located in West Hollywood. Can you imagine a more beautiful, romantic spot to try on wedding gowns? The castle was built in 1928 by Curlett & Beelman using bricks from the original Los Angeles City Hall. The building was originally home to a famous muralist, Anthony Heinsbergen.

Claire Pettibone had noticed the building years ago.
I have always loved this building since living in LA, and when it became available, I felt it was meant to be, given my devotion to history and appreciation for this period, but I am still pinching myself that we have moved into a castle!
All images are by Elizabeth Messina.

If you're in the market for a wedding gown and are in southern California, you might want to visit the salon for their upcoming sample sale!

  1. I loved Claire Pettibone's dresses when I was looking for a wedding gown. They weren't carried at any shop near me and I regret not going to the nearest city to try a few on.

    Beautiful place she's got!

  3. When I got married, the bridal shops were crammed full of dresses. It was overwhelming. This place is so pretty. I wish we has something like it here.
