Design House Week: The Richmond Symphony Orchestra League Designer's House

The best laid plans don't always work out. I set up this week of posts thinking I'd profile this always-wonderful show house in Richmond. The only problem is that I can't find any mention of the 2013 house online because the have their design house every other year. The RSOL's website doesn't mention upcoming plans and the Facebook page is still for the 2012 house. My email to the RSOL asking for a hint about a future location went unanswered.

The RSOL Designer's House has been happening for years, so I think it's safe to say it will be back in 2014. I just can't tell you where it will be or any real details.

I thought I'd share some pictures and video from last year's house in Midlothian, a suburb a bit south of Richmond.


The neighborhood was called Pinifer Park.The home used is historic and the area around it has been developed. We've seen that a few times in this area. It's an interesting idea.
