Crate and Barrel's Compact Life Campaign

Last week, I wrote about Restoration Hardware's new campaign to appeal to those of us who live small.  This week, I'm sharing a campaign that arrived in my email inbox around the same time.

I don't think seeing C&B talk about products meant for "The Compact Life" is as exciting as the changes at RH.  After all, C&B never went over the top with the scale of their pieces.  Still, I think it's nice to see a marketing effort like this.

Living small is a necessity for some and a choice for others. Do you live small?  If so, is it by choice or by necessity?  If you live small by choice, what prompted you to chose your current home?

I don't live small by any means now, but my favorite apartment i lived in in my twenties (and there were a handful) was a 500 sq ft high rise studio. I had to be very clever about carving out sleeping, entertaining, dining and work areas, and it was immensely satisfying solving that puzzle.
