Taken over!

Wedding thoughts, plans, and research has taken over my mind. Please tell me this will pass! I so wanted to do some home projects this month and I now realize that the month is almost over and everything looks the same as it was at the beginning.

Maybe if I hurry up and book all of our vendors, I'll be able to spend more time with my relaxing hobby...painting. As I frantically searched options for ceremony and cocktail hour musicians (I'm not really into the ultra traditional, so the search has been fruitless so far) while trying to each my lunch today, I realized that I would really love to have a paint brush in my hands. I think I'm going to have to carve out some time this weekend for some painting to calm me down a little bit.

  1. Jeannine, I just discovered your fantastic blog today Would you mind If I ask were you got the blue lanterns hanging in the kitchen? Your house is gorgeous and I love your sense of humor!

  2. I'm just catching up on your blog. In my experience, the wedding takeover just got more intense! But you also seem to be more organized than I am :-D and will probably get more stuff taken care of in advance. Also, we did a lot of stuff ourselves that couldn't really be done until the week of.

I LOVE your venue! I can't believe how fast they built it! It is so gorgeous. I also found myself wanting to talk to other people who were having their weddings at the same place. The closest I got was another SLC blogger emailing me saying she was getting married there the day after us! Pretty cool. Now that the wedding is over I can get back to my regular blog-reading. I'm so excited to keep reading about your wedding.
