Quick weekend trip to Boston

I took a quick trip to Boston over the weekend and I foolishly left my camera at home. As I walked from the T towards my brother and sister-in-law's house, I felt pretty foolish. There is so much eye candy in the Boston suburbs and all I had was an iPhone with which to document it.


This blue house was one of the first ones I walked by after getting off the T. The block was full of beauties just like it.

The long window on the side of this house was stained class. You can see the colors here, but you can probably make out the design.

This house was actually in need of a new paint job. Most of the houses in the neighborhood sport bold paint colors. The victorians are especially fun, with purple, pink, and pastels dominating

It's no surprise that like Charlottesville, Newton is often listed as one of the best places to live. The median home price is $625,000. There are plenty of homes that go for many times that amount!
