Who's decorating this weekend?

We usually do our Christmas decorating when we get home from Thanksgiving, but we were scurrying around buying the last of our gifts last weekend and didn't get to it. So, this weekend is our weekend to get a tree and wreaths, fire up the Christmas carols on iTunes, and decorate.

I make a rule not to buy any new Christmas ornaments or lights until I get what I already have out of storage. I made a small exception when I visited Quince last night. Sharon has these adorable, light-up pussy willow branches. I went back through my photos to see if I could find a picture of them on display in the store, but it seems like they are the one thing I missed with my camera.

I'm still looking for the right vase for my set, but here's a close up of them. Aren't they cute? They're even fuzzy!

Don't forget! Quince's holiday open house is tonight at 5:30 PM!

If you want a set of these branches, come early...
I have a feeling they're going to fly out of the store.

  1. We're decorating this weekend! I wanted to get a tree last Sunday, but Ryan said it would dry out before Christmas. Probably true. So off we go on Sunday. Can't wait!

    I dig those branches!

  2. Oh I love those!!! So cute! I put up a wreath, garland, and rosemary "trees" in my urns on Tuesday (during a tornado warning, no less), and some garland inside...no Christmas tree this year due to our travel schedule. :( Just waiting on some stockings I ordered!

  3. It's time for me to bust out the Christmas tree, I wish there was a help button for that especially to put everything away.

  4. I like the willow branches! We don't have any space in the apartment for a big tree, so I have a little 2' tabletop tree I'll put up soon.

  5. Oh, I love those. We always had pussy willows at my home out east in spring. Don't find them here. Glad you liked Amber's Etsy shop and found something you love!! I think she is a great artist.
