New kitchen counters

My impala black granite counters went in Thursday morning. The install of the counters took a solid two hours. I still haven't really moved much back into the kitchen. Tonight, I'll seal them and then take a new round of pictures with everything back in place. I have to touch up the wall paint, too.

I feel as though this is how the kitchen should have been done by the builder in the first place. However, in the other units, the granite used is brown and speckled. This just looks "right" to me.

Oddly, I can't really picture how the ugly, gray laminate looked anymore.
