Black Friday Window Shopping

When I was younger, I absolutely LOVED seeing the holiday windows at the department stores. When I was a little older, I'd head out to the stores on Black Friday (not at 6 AM or anything like that) just to see the decorations and windows.

In Virginia, our department stores don't really have windows the way they do in Boston and New York. Thankfully, my aunt in Manhattan clued me in to a way to look at the NYC windows from afar. So, if you're staying home on Black Friday, but would love to see some holiday windows, check out the Sunday Window Shopping series of posts on the Mizhattan blog.

  2. How fun! I am only less than an hour outside of NYC, but the traffic and crowds this time of year keep me away...love the idea of seeing the windows this way..brilliant!:)
