Fun with photoshop

Someone who read about my real estate listing pet peeve (bad photoshopping) sent me this photo. It's apparently taken from a local listing. Unless the room is shaped like a trapezoid, this picture is totally impossible. Look closely at the dresser on the left side of the image. Does that look a little odd to you?

I don't really understand why this is done to real estate listing photos. It seems to step a little too close to false advertising to me.
