Slowly getting back to normal

I made a quick visit to HomeGoods on a whim and found that their lighting section was full of great looking lamps. I snapped pictures of a few that I thought would look great in Marc's mother's house at the beach. As I walked away from the section, I realized that my desk could use a new lamp.

Though I've seen plenty of fun lamps at HomeGoods before, I've never taken one home.



Okay, I snuck in that little elephant because I thought he was cute. As for the lamps, I wound up with a short, round moon rock of a lamp that casts just the right amount of light. What do you think?

I hope my little $30 lamp works out. I just check it and it's UL listed, so I don't think there's anything to worry about, right?
