Rugs are in!

My new seagrass rugs are in place and I LOVE them! The reviews online complain about how smelly they are. Some people even said they returned theirs. I guess they didn't realize that they would smell like seagrass?

I'm not a huge fan of the smell, but Marc likes it. Maybe it's a gender thing...my dad likes the smell of cut grass and I think it's a horrible smell. Does anyone else have seagrass in their home? Does the smell dissipate or is it here to stay?

Anyway, here's a sneak peak. Baxter is no longer looking like a first-time ice skater when he trots around my place.

  7. Keep in mind I know nothing about seagrass rugs but have been seeing them all over home blogs and am really starting to like them-How do they feel when you walk on them? Obviously, I know they aren't soft but are they really scratchy/uncomfortable to walk on with bare feet?

  9. They have a very nice texture. I don't have any, so I don't know about the smell thing. But, if our Tempurpedic can stop smelling after a couple months, I'm sure your rugs will!

  11. I wish I could see Baxter ice skating. Bailey walks fine until she starts chasing a ball and then she just skids in to everything (last night she skidded in to the front door, turned around, banged her head on the closet door and kept running like nothing happened. totally normal)
