I'm not a huge fan of the smell, but Marc likes it. Maybe it's a gender thing...my dad likes the smell of cut grass and I think it's a horrible smell. Does anyone else have seagrass in their home? Does the smell dissipate or is it here to stay?
Anyway, here's a sneak peak. Baxter is no longer looking like a first-time ice skater when he trots around my place.
The smell goes away.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you buy the rug?
ReplyDeleteThe smell goes away...but I like it. I like fresh cut grass too. I <3 seagrass.
ReplyDeleteI have seagrass baskets from IKEA, and they smelled at first too, but the smell does go away! I love the look of seagrass rugs.
ReplyDeleteWhat? Huh? Were you talking about something?
ReplyDeleteAll I can focus on is Teh Puppeh!
Lovely puppy dog. I have seagrass rugs from Ballard Designs. Mine didn't smell at all.
ReplyDeleteJust lovely! :)
ReplyDeleteKeep in mind I know nothing about seagrass rugs but have been seeing them all over home blogs and am really starting to like them-How do they feel when you walk on them? Obviously, I know they aren't soft but are they really scratchy/uncomfortable to walk on with bare feet?
ReplyDeleteshut up, no way....we just got sea grass rugs this week, too!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteso weird. i haven't had time to post pics yet :)
baxter makes them look really cute.

They have a very nice texture. I don't have any, so I don't know about the smell thing. But, if our Tempurpedic can stop smelling after a couple months, I'm sure your rugs will!
ReplyDeleteYou know the smell didn't really bother me when I first got mine but, it does eventually fade. Can't wait to see pics!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could see Baxter ice skating. Bailey walks fine until she starts chasing a ball and then she just skids in to everything (last night she skidded in to the front door, turned around, banged her head on the closet door and kept running like nothing happened. totally normal)
