Almost done with the drapes!

Last night, I decided I had to see some progress on something at my place. The floors (ruined by a leak in a unit above mine) won't be done until the new year, so the drapes got my attention. I had a huge roll of 2/5" grosgrain ribbon that I wanted to use as trim for my black and white damask curtain panels. My next door neighbor thought the combo was nuts, but I'm really excited about it.

My goal for the night was to get the leading edge of one panel completed. I wound up doing the whole panel! When I get the second complete, I'll take a big picture. Here's a taste of what they'll look like:

  4. Looks great. Liked seeing the corner before it was sewed - that helps me visualize that.

  5. I love it! It will really add some pop - the yellow ribbon is fantastic. Is that all with the stitch witch?
