Small & Chic is CBS's Blog of the Week!

If you don't live in Charlottesville, you might not understand my excitement over getting an email from super blogger Marijean Jaggers who, along with writing the STL Working Mom blog, is a contributor at Charlottesville's CBS station. Marijean's Blog of the Week segments on the CBS evening news feature bloggers from around Charlottesville.

Well, this blog has been selected as this week's Blog of the Week! I'm working from home today, trying to get over a bug I've had for about a week now and I'm almost frantic over the fact that a camera crew might show up today. I look like a mess and I haven't cleaned the house in days.

If you want to see if I can pull myself together and get through a sentence without a coughing fit, tune into Charlottesville's CBS news (not the national news!) at 6:30 PM tonight. I'll post a link to the video if I don't look like a wreck.

  2. They just made it sound like my golden retriever helps me decorate my place.

I jokingly put a line in my profile about Baxter being my "design co-pilot" and they seem to think I really believe that. D'oh!

  3. Thanks for being a sport (I've been getting over a cold, too). We were still talking about your blog off the air and Dan Schutte is going to be reading to get some design ideas for his house (and I will too for my teeny tiny bathroom). Of course we know Baxter doesn't help! But hopefully you'll get some new readers who want to see if he really does . . . :)

  4. Thanks so much, Marijean. I was talking about the teaser that aired at 5 PM, not about you two talking at 6:30 PM. Thanks so much for featuring my blog!

  5. Awesome. This is seriously so cool. : )

Since I'm around the StL area I hear about StL moms all the time on channel 5!
